Doorbell network ports needed

For Arlo base stations a lot of blurbs say:

Ports 80 (http), 443 (https) and 123 (NTP) need to be open to arlo.netgear.com. Since that address may dynamically change due to DNS and/or load sharing, the specific IP address would likely be useless. Arlo uses Amazon's AWS servers around the world.

What about for a Wi-Fi doorbell please? Any idea the ports it needs please? I think it works on 2.4g and maybe not wpa3.

The ports should be the same.

Most of the cameras (and the doorbells) use single band 2.4 ghz wifi. Best to configure the router/wifi access point to accept WPA2 (AES). Though the current firmware should be able to handle WPA3, the firmware preloaded on the devices might not.

Check the SIP calling feature of the doorbell. SIP uses ports 5060/5061 for signaling. But I don't think the SIP stack is actually in the doorbell - I think the SIP call is more likely placed from the Arlo Cloud.

I tried the basic and it worked apart from when pressed.

And maybe others are used. Not sure if fixed or random. Seems each time you press it the outbound port changes.

Do you mean the source port or the destination port?

It is quite possible that the cloud tells the doorbell what port to use for the media streams.

That was dest and seems random. Will leave as outbound as all - it sits on it's non trusted wifi network so not too bad.
