Trouble Re-adding doorbell wire free to new hub

I got the new hub VMB4540 and all cameras I have boarded new hub with no issues but I am having troubles re-adding doorbell. Since the doorbell is already installed (screwed) into the wall how would I factory reset it. I tried

turning on/off on power kit
add doorbell without smart hub
add doorbell without smart hub (made sure my iPhone was connected to 2.4 Ghz and I also ensured that I typed correct network name and password.

What doorbell model do you have? Possibilities are

AVD1001
AVD2001
AVD3001
AVD4001

AVD1001 wired doorbell. it worked fine with my old hut but now when i swapped it with this new hub cant seem to be able to add it. since it is already installed (screwed into the wall) cant really reset it

It is a PITA, but you might need to take it down. You don't need to unscrew it - instructions for releasing the doorbell are on page 79 here:

But it can be hard because you need enough slack in the wires to keep the doorbell powered.

If you don't have the release pin anymore, you can use an unbent paper clip.

That worked but you were right it was tights. Very little wiggle room due to wires but I was able to reset it and add it to my hub.
