I have the hd wireless door bell. I've searched everywhere for a charger without avail. Finally a chat with tech support said a 5v/2amp charger with a usb 2 port. Is this the correct charger needed? One would think a charger came in the box or as an accessory.

If you mean the AVD2001, then yes.
