topic Wireless Doorbell Charging in Arlo Video Doorbell Wire-Free

According to article id# 000062518, the Arlo Wire-free doorbell will trickle charge when connected to a 24V charger after the battery goes below 60% charge or something like that. My doorbell is not trickle charging. I have it hooked up to a 24V charger. I have reduced the sensitivity in terms of motion detection. I have let the battery empty, charged to 100%. All the happens it just runs the battery to 0 and no longer works. Is there some trick I am missing?!?

Can you make sure all these steps were followed to hardwire the wireless doorbell?

https://kb.arlo.com/000062491
