topic Range Detection Wireless Essential Doorbell in Arlo Video Doorbell Wire-Free

We have installed an Arlo wireless Essential Door bell and upgraded the Hub to AMB5000 and I linked it to that. The Motion Detection test is 100%, Activity zone is not set as does not make any difference and yet the unit only starts recording when a person is within 1 foot of the camera. There is no plastic covering on the lenses etc. What am I missing? Thanks

Make sure you're setting the motion sensitivity in your modes and rules (or camera settings, Default Mode Settings, depending on if you use Feed to view videos). It may be worthwhile removing the doorbell from your account and add it back to see if that helps. If not, swap at the store.

Hi, we have tried restoring to factory settings etc. Seems that the PIR is working in one hemisphere but not the other. Looking at the PIR it seems to not be in the centre of the viewing hole and being shielded. So we are arranging a replacement.
