topic Poor WiFi Reception by Doorbell in Arlo Video Doorbell Wire-Free

I am pretty fed up with this rubbish product.

I can happily sit in my garden and stream YouTube videos to my phone with no buffering.

My Doorbell barely connects.

I have just spent out another chunk of money upgrading my WiFi mesh network to get an even stronger signal outside and yet still the doorbell barely connects.

Can anyone shed any light before I end up leaving it on the road to get run over.

Many thanks a very frustrated first time Arlo user. (Definitely going to tell everyone I know to avoid there products).

Re: Crap WiFi Reception by Doorbell

There's lots of things that can cause this like house construction (stucco, brick and stone being the worst), things on/in the walls between the router and doorbell, 2.4GHz interference from nearby wireless devices (not just WiFi), distance, etc. Have you tried bringing the doorbell inside to see if that works better?
