Wire-free doorbell calls iPhone 2 minutes later

All,

I have recently installed an Arlo wire-free doorbell. So far I am not very happy with it's performance. When someone rings the bell, I receive a phonecall while outside the house, but my wife who is at home with full WiFi and mobile signal gets a call on her iPhone 2 minutes later. Tested it while we were both at home. So the doorbell is of no use to her so far. Any ideas?

Does the same occur for both phones on mobile data and wifi?

Which version of the Arlo app is installed on the phones?

I've already replied but unfortunately, my response was not uploaded.

It happened with both phones on the same network (Wi-Fi at home). Android phone rang, iPhone after two minutes.

It also happened while the android phone was on mobile network (away) and the iPhone at home (the iPhone again rang after two minutes).

App versions

iPhone 4.0.3 (5376)

Android 4.0.3 _28510

It happens everywhere. At the moment it is useless. I am seriously thinking of returning it
