      <description>My wireless doorbell just stopped recording anything. I don’t have or want a subscription-however I want to be able to see my door for the day. Why did this all of the sudden stop?? I am not even getting all alerts. Very annoying</description>

&lt;P&gt;You should be getting alerts, but recordings either require a subscription, or a smarthub with direct access to local storage enabled.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>I am still not able to connect my wireless doorbell to our base station. It doesn’t find it. We reset everything and arlo says our basestation should be compatible with the doorbell. Please help</description>

&lt;P&gt;Current firmware for the AVD2001 is&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;1.2.0.0_624_718aea3_c998ba4.&amp;nbsp; So you might double-check that is what you are running.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I don't know why you are finding it so difficult.&amp;nbsp; But I do want to point out that after you succeed, you won't be able to see your local recordings in the app.&amp;nbsp; You'll have to eject the storage, and then attach the USB drive to a PC every time you want to review the recordings.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
