Still Getting Alerts While in Disarmed Mode?

I'm still figuring everything out, as I just got my wire-free video doorbell set up yesterday, but why are our phones still getting notifications when I disarm our doorbell? I understand ARMED mode, but we take our dog out regularly, so I want a mode that does NOTHING. I figured DISARMED mode would do this, but we still get notifications even when DISARMED mode is on. Please advise and thanks in advance.

Disarmed disables recordings. How is the doorbell connected - to WiFi or a base/hub? Do you have other cameras? DO you get recordings also?

Thanks for the reply. It’s a wire free version on wifi.

No other smart home equipment or cameras.

No recording—just the push alert.

I'd start with removing and reconnecting them.
