&lt;P&gt;No they didn't.&amp;nbsp; They've repeatedly stated that they were planning to add it for the AVD2001, but never said when. Hopefully soon.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have links where Arlo said something different for the AVD2001, then post a couple of them.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>No Wifi connection - Arlo wireless video doorbell will bot connect to Wifi on BT Smart Hub 3</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, looking for help. I've recently purchased a Arlo wireless video doorbell and I cannot for the love of God get it to connect to my wifi network. I'm currently using a BT smart hub 3 and have a Arlo hub VMB 4000 with 3 cams running faultless. Using the Arlo app on the phone I get the chime indicating the phone has recognised the doorbell followed by the rotating Amber lights on the doorbell button. I am aware initially you have to connect the doorbell to the wifi network before this process and that is where the problem lies. Doorbell searches for my 2.4ghz network for a min or so (with the flashing white lights around the button) only to be followed by the amber lights of dooooom...!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;FWIW, you cannot connect the AVD2001 to your base - right now it only connects to your wifi.&amp;nbsp; Arlo has said they will add this feature, but they haven't said when.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Do you mean that the doorbell is chiming?&amp;nbsp; That means it's read the QR code.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you checked to see if the camera shows up on your router's attached device list?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What router do you have?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>The cam has read the QR and chimed, my router is a Bt Smart hub 3 and my Arlo hub is Vmb4000r3.       <description>Can someone please help..!! I have a Arlo Vmb4540 smart hub with 3 cams linked to it. I also have a 32gb flash drive plugged into the usb port which records locally without fault. I have recently purchased a Arlo wireless video doorbell (adv 2001) on the understanding that I could connect it to the smarthubs WiFi directly instead of via the router. I've spent hours trying to connect it directly to the smarthubs WiFi but no luck. It asks me for the SSID and password for the hub (which are not available) &amp;amp; doesn't show the smarthubs WiFi to connect to. Arlo have clearly stated in posts well over 12 months ago that the option to record locally to usb from wireless video doorbell is now available on vmb4540 and vmb 5000. I just feel at the moment I've spent literally hundreds of £££ for something I've been mislead. All firmwares are up to date on hub and doorbell.....&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":thinking_face:"&gt;🤔&lt;/span&gt;</description>
