This is very unusual - not something I've seen posted here before, and certainly not something I've seen myself. Is there also a chime on the circuit?

It's possible that the transformer was defective in some way. But it would be prudent to exchange the doorbell. If you can exchange it with the seller, that would be fastest/easiest.

If that is not possible, you can contact support and ask for an RMA. You will need to pay for shipping the doorbell to Arlo (Arlo will pay for shipping the replacement).

What is the transformer spec (both VAC and VA)?

Can you measure the voltage, just to make sure the transformer is working properly?

No there is no chime. I didn't have an existing door bell. Both of the transformers blew after someone pushed the button on the doorbell and the doorbell called my cellphone. Is it possible one of the settings in the app is wrong? Was I supposed to hook the power kit somehow? The instructions I read said I didn't need the power kit if I didnt have an existing chime box.
