Use HomeKit and Alexa at same time?

Hi there,
I’ve just ordered the arlo ultra camera kit and intend on buying the video doorbell in the near future. I’d like to know if I can connect them all to the ultra hub but use HomeKit with the cameras and Alexa for the doorbell (until HomeKit is available). Is this possible?

Thanks for your answer! Also, is there any advantage of pairing the video doorbell to the hub as opposed to the router? Does it make it quicker or more reliable etc?
