My doorbell is set at 35 for motion detection which has worked reasonably well. Not perfect but not bad. YMMV

Doorbell records and alerts me for EVERY vehicle that passes despite me setting it for people only. I even have a custom zone that excludes the road yet still I’m bombarded with alerts and recordings. I’ve restarted after verifying the settings to no avail!

I am not sure what record time has to do with recording vehicles when it is set to not record vehicles, but mine is set to 35 sec. also

Smart and zones don't always seem to work properly so reducing the motion sensitivity is the next step. My SENSITIVITY is set to 35, not the recording duration of 35 seconds, as you state.

Got it. I reset the sensitivity and also reset the custom zone, still recording vehicles.
