    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would really appreciate some help . I had &amp;nbsp;to disconnect my wired Arlo doorbell as the external mic was making very loud noises late at night .&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried to reconnect using the instructions on the app but it assumes it’s a new installation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Arlo chat also kept sending me the same link .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help would be amazing - the chime is a plug in in the wall .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;many thanks !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Do you mean the Arlo chime was making loud noises?&amp;nbsp; The doorbell has an internal mic (not external), and Arlo does not sell an accessory with an external mic.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Is the doorbell the AVD1001?&amp;nbsp; Is it still in your account?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there the actual doorbell with the camera on was making very loud screeching and noise - no it wasnt coming form the plug in chime - I am not going mad my neighbour heard it also !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I reconnect the device - the app is assuming that it is a first time installation?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You haven't said which doorbell so here's 2 links that do the same thing but depend on which user interface you're using (the old one uses Library to view recordings while the new one uses Feed):&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The doorbells include a Siren feature - I am thinking you might have accidentally triggered it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the doorbell is still in your account, then remove it and use the hardware reset you see in&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.arlo.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/378"&gt;@jguerdat&lt;/a&gt;'s link.&amp;nbsp; Then you will need to set it up from scratch.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
