I want to install the video door bell where the existing audio bell is installed. But I have a thin door frame. What are my options?

Depends on what you mean by thin - not thick or not wide horizontally. I've mounted mine on the siding next to the door frame and have also used double-sided tape.

Ah - I missed the attachment. That's a tough call - all I can think of is to mount it on the angle bracket to the brick surface. Otherwise, on the opposite side of the door if room permits.

How wide is it (including the molding at the brick wall)?

The width is 1.77 inches (per Amazon) - 45 mm.

@sjgoel wrote:

Including the moulding - 1.7 inch (1 in flat surface, 0.7 in moulding)

So the door frame is a little too narrow, even if you cut the moulding.

@jguerdat's angle bracket idea would work, though it might be a bit tricky to conceal the wiring (and you wouldn't want the wiring to be exposed to the elements).

You might also check with a carpenter - I suspect you could replace the trim on the outside with a 2" board (though it would extend about .3" over the side door jamb).

FWIW, the Arlo Audio Doorbell is about 1.5" wide. Though that would need a separate camera to pair with.
