      <title>Arlo Wired Doorbell doesn't work with new house. AVD1001-100NAS</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased a Arlo Wired Doorbell Camera a year ago.&amp;nbsp; Installed it at my home and it worked great.&amp;nbsp; I recently moved to another home and installed it at my current residence, and it doesn't work.&amp;nbsp; I changed the transformer, and it still doesn't work.&amp;nbsp; I know there is power to the doorbell because I took a voltage meter and measured the current passing through.&amp;nbsp; In fact, when I unhook the Arlo doorbell and touch the wires the doorbell chimes.&amp;nbsp; I mean nothing lights up on the doorbell.&amp;nbsp; I mistakenly left my power kit switch in my old home and that is the only thing I can think of that is different.&amp;nbsp; I attempted numerous times to contact Arlo but as you can figure no luck.&amp;nbsp; I'm sure someone else has experienced this issue.&amp;nbsp; Is there any way to just purchase the power kit switch? Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;One test you could try is to bypass the chime (connecting the two wires directly to each other, and not to the chime.&amp;nbsp; See if that results in powering the doorbell.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am thinking that you might need to replace it.&amp;nbsp; The wirefree version might be a good choice, as it has no powerkit - it is designed to trickle-charge from the transformer.&amp;nbsp; It is a bit thicker.&amp;nbsp; Motion detection range is shorter, and it doesn't have foresight.&amp;nbsp; (In many situations, shorter motion range is a plus).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Anyway, if you end up replacing it, you might want to contact Arlo support.&amp;nbsp; They might offer you a discount on a new one.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
