How many total minutes of recording and live viewing is being used? You'll need to remove activity zones to know for sure since they cause the servers to delete videos outside the zones. The general spec is for <5 minutes per day.

Try bringing the doorbell indoors for testing to see whether the battery usage changes.

And bringing the doorbell indoors for testing? It could be a signal strength/quality issue.

The battery can die if there's more recording and live viewing than the transformer power can supply. For the wired version of the doorbell, there's only a small battery inside that is used to supply extra current on demand when the transformer power is insufficient. The wire-free version uses a replaceable battery of much larger capacity but again the amount of recording/viewing can run it down.
