Doorbell notification to fast on iPhone

Just installed one of these doorbells.

When the doorbell is pressed a notification to answer the call comes up on my iphone but disappears after about 1 second. If I answer within this second then everything is fine. but I'm raely looking at my phone waiting for it to ring so I miss the call every time..

I expected the ring notification to keep ringing until I answer it - not stop after 1 second.

Any idea how I can fix this?

I don't know. It happens to me, too, but on the wirefree doorbell 1st gen.

Arlo support said I should remove the restriction of the app, i.e. app battery usage from optimised to unrestricted, but it didn't help. It happens on my Android phone but my partner's iPhone has no such problem.

In the end, because Arlo is now uncontactable in the UK, and nobody continued with the initial support from Arlo about this too, I returned the doorbell to Amazon under warranty.

Anyway, if anyone has a solution to the doorbell problem, I'd be interested, too.

PS resetting the doorbell made no difference.

PPS I'm almost scared to do anything or add anything for the fear of breaking something.
