installation of Arlo Wired Video Doorbell fails

I get to the wifi connection in my install process, the wifi is found, I enter correct user id and password, the Arlo screen says this will take a few minutes. It never completes (ever). THe circle light continues to flash on/off for ever. I have to remove power to get any responce.

Given this is my second Arlo doorbell installation, the first one succeeded with another doorbell, I have to presume there is nothing wrong with my wifi or setup procedure. What do I do with this HUNG result?
