My Arlo always precisely told me who was at door, such as man with black hat, white shirt, etc All of a sudden those descriptions stopped working? What’s going on? How to fix?

Did you check that event captions are still turned on?

press the profile icon on the upper left
press the location (likely "Home")

If you have the feature, you should see "Event Captions" listed in Arlo Intelligence (flagged as "Beta"). If you press it, you'll be able to enable/disable the feature for any/all of the cameras in the location.
