So question I notice that I have my pro 2 all set up and getting feeds. My video doorbell I get notifications and video call but I don’t have any feeds of motion saved in the app. Can I still get access to this? Do I need to upgrade the hub I think I have the 4000

How do I fix it…

Getting a single-camera subscription for the camera is one way.

The other is to purchase a VMB4540 or VMB5000 smarthub, and connect the doorbell to it. Then use the "direct access to local storage" feature to see the locally stored recordings. That is not a great user experience, but many people do use it instead of a subscription. Limitations include

recordings are only available in the app (not the browser).

recordings are only available in the primary account (not "friend" accounts).

no thumbnails, so a recording needs to be downloaded to the phone before you can see anything.

no ability to make manual recordings or snapshots

remote access requires router settings that some find difficult, and which will not work with some internet service providers.
