This does work. But still would be great to access all Arlo’s features the same way. Thanks.

I have been using Arlo products for close to 10 years and it has been quite good but every now and then there’s a kink to be solved and there’s no real answer. I’ve searched on these forums where and how can I turn off only the Arlo doorbell and the only solution is to remove the battery or change modes which would then affect the other cameras. Will there be an update that would enable a user to switch the Arlo 2gen wireless doorbell off just like the other cameras? I know they aren’t actually off but you should be able to control each device without affecting the others. I’ve rebooted my device. Remove/deleted the app and reinstalled. No pending updates and yet no way to simply turn the Arlo doorbell cam on or off.

I just go into the current mode's rule for the doorbell and disable motion detection. A couple of extra clicks but it works.

I agree. There should be an on/off switch for the doorbells, just like the other cameras.
