The product page on Arlo.com is confusing - it shows a SmartHub with the cameras but does not list that hub as in the box, nor does the Quick Install Guide. The cameras require that hub to allow setup of the cameras so some clarification is needed. Based on what I see, no hub is included in the 3 camera setup.

@JamesC , @ShayneS , @BrookeN would you be able to verify and perhaps correct the product page as appropriate?

I think it depends where/which kit you buy…

The 3 camera kits I bought from bestbuy did come with base units.

I’m actually running 12 x ultra2 cameras off one base unit, so have a few bases I haven’t even taken out of the box…I didn’t find a need to connect multiple bases for my needs at this time- I didn’t mind buying the kits as it was best price I could find.

do your research on ‘what’s included the box’ as I’ve seen it vary

I'm tagging the mods - @BrookeN , @JamesC , @ShayneS - so they can follow up.

It is very strange that the 2 and 4 camera Ultra bundles include a smarthub in "whats in the box", but the 3 camera kit does not. So I am wondering if this an oversight????

FWIW, it is also very strange that the "Build your own bundle" does NOT let you add smarthubs to your bundle, since they are required for Ultra cameras.

The (3) cam kit should include a SmartHub, the same as the (2) and (4) cam kits. I am verifying with internal teams now and will post again shortly once I have confirmation.
