Advice on setup. Using geofencing setup but upstairs camera are good to be active?

Hi all, I was hoping some of you guys could perhaps offer some idea on setup.

We have three cameras, Garage, Porch, Balcony. We have geofencing setup which seems to be a good option, but I guess if we are upstairs cameras are good to be active?

We definitely can't see the garage so was thinking that should be on all the time.

If anyone could offer their advice it would be much appreciated!

Geofencing uses a large enough area that upstairs/downstairs doesn't matter as long as location in the phone is still possible. A basic setup for your system would be to use the Armed mode for GF Away (all cameras armed) but possibly a custom mode with only the cameras you want armed (porch and garage?) for Home.
