Yes, that's sort of how it was set up in the previous version of the software. You had the choice to view Cloud recordings or local recordings. I imagine they could set up the feed in the same way.

I've used Arlo Ultra 2 cameras with a SmartHub and local storage for two years. Recently, I added a Pro5S camera to the SmartHub. To do this, I was prompted to update the Arlo secure app. Once the app was updated, I noticed the new interface with Dashboard, Feed, Devices and Routines tabs, which is fine.
The issue is that to access the local recording, I need to go to Devices, click on SmartHub, Click Storage settings, and then I can see the local recordings. The problem is that getting to local storage is too many clicks compared to Cloud recording.
If I click on the Pro 5 camera, to which I have an Arlo secure subscription, I can see the videos recorded to the Cloud. However, if I click on the Ultra 2 camera where I don't have a subscription, it displays a message "You found a premium feature", with no way to disable it so I can see the local recording on the SmartHub. Has anyone else run into this issue? I understand Arlo wants to sell its subscription. Still, surely they also need to support the customers who want to run local recordings and have purchased a SmartHub with this capability?

Thanks,
Tan

I agree it is harder to access them. Personally I'd rather they had an option in "Feed Settings" to allow people to see the local recordings there (so people with a subscription can choose not to see them routinely).

Hopefully Arlo will hear the feedback, and make this a bit simpler.
