Arlo Ultra2 camera with HomeKit

Hi, I am planning to invest in Arlo ultra2 camera with smart hub. Before I do, I would like to know following:

1. Do I need subscription to Arlo secure plan to connect Arlo Ultra 2 camera to HomeKit?

2. Will I get advanced motion alert(Person, Pet, package) in HomeKit app?

3. Will recordings be available in smart hub if I am using HomeKit?

4. Will facial recognition be available if I am using HomeKit?

Not sure (I don't use homekit myself). However these alerts do require an Arlo Secure subscription (as do activity zones)

Arlo doesn't support homekit secure video, so no recordings in iCloud. But you will still get local recordings.

Local recording playback is not a great experience though.

recordings only available in the app (not the browser)
recordings only available from the primary account (not shared accounts)
no ability to make manual recordings or snapshots
no thumbnails, all videos need to be downloaded to your phone before viewing
remote access requires router setting changes that many find difficult, and which don't work with some internet service providers.
