I just set up a new Ultra 2 System. I have yet to hang one camera outside so it’s on the counter, turned Off, disabled in the app. It clicks whenever I open the app and sometimes just on its own. This seems weird. Defective? Should I exchange this set? TIA

I don't think it's defective.

There is an IR filter that engages when NightVision turns on and disengages when it turns off. The camera engages/disengages the filter before it starts to record or livestream. That does make a click, so I think that is what you are hearing.

Not sure, as I haven't seen that. But it might still kick in, particularly if the camera is being charged.

You could try turning "black & white" off in the nightvision settings, and see if the clicking stops.

Ok thank you. I tried that and a lot of different things. It still clicks, whenever I open the app, even when it’s disabled. I give up. I’ll either return the set or install the camera outside and I won’t hear the clicking. 🙏🏼✊🏼
