That's the theory. You have to give it a try.

Recently got setup with 4 ultras and liking them so far with Apple Watch notifications, but now curious if motion can also trigger a chime or audible signal to the Arlo Chime device? Like package at front door and it “rings”? I don’t have fancy doorbell but would be nice to have the Chime ring me to let me know someone is there. Is that possible? Read some conflicting reports of Doorbell and Chime “not” working with the Ultra base station? Is it supposed to work?

Thanks ya’all!

The rules allow you to select the chime as another device to activate (Add Device in your rules). The chime and doorbells syncs fine with my VMB5000 hub so that's not an issue.

So when the camera or cameras detect motion I can have the chime ring then?
