    <description>&lt;P&gt;Absolutely feed up with Arlo!&amp;nbsp; I cant even send a simple email with a specific question and get an answer!&amp;nbsp; My question is simple:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 2 Arlo bases, 7 cameras total.&amp;nbsp; I receive notifications from all of them.&amp;nbsp; When I go to my library only the older cameras show up and are viewable.&amp;nbsp; The notifications from the newer ultra 2 cameras that are on a VMB5000r5&amp;nbsp; base are not viewable.&amp;nbsp; Why?&amp;nbsp; I dont want cloud storage.&amp;nbsp; I have an sd card in the hub, but I am more interested in just viewing what made my camera go off?&amp;nbsp; Any help would be greatly appreciated.&amp;nbsp; Do I really have to have a subscription just to view what made the camera go off?&amp;nbsp; Thanks for any help!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;LI&gt;recordings only available in the app, not the browser&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;recordings only&amp;nbsp; available using the primary account, not friend accounts&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;no thumbnails (including in the notifications), so videos need to be downloaded to view&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;no ability to save snapshots or manual recordings&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;remote access requires router setting changes that some find difficult and which won't work with some internet service providers (for instance, T-mobile or Verizon broadband).&lt;/LI&gt;

So when I get a notification from my older camera.&amp;nbsp; I go to the library , click on the thumb nail and view the recording.&amp;nbsp; When I get a notification from the Ultra 2 cameras that are on the VMB5000 hub they do not even show up in the&amp;nbsp;library?&amp;nbsp; So bottom line....With these newer cameras they are not going to work like I want them to without a subscription?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Both Hubs are on the same network&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Do I just need to find an older system and add it?&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;One other piece of information.&amp;nbsp; When viewing the library, on the top center of the page it shows CLOUD (I don't&amp;nbsp;have a subscription) If I click on that it pulls down and shows the other hub.&amp;nbsp; I can click on it and now I can download the video.&amp;nbsp; How do I get that hub to be with the other hub says cloud?&amp;nbsp; Just so confusing, lol&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I wish all my cameras and hubs were the same.&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Yes, you need to select the base.&amp;nbsp; That should stay that way until you restart the app - though not something I've checked recently.&amp;nbsp; I do have a subscription, so for me the local recordings are just a backup.&lt;/P&gt;
