VBM5000 out of the box won't connect

I'm a new user and trying to set up for the very first time. VBM5000 out of the box won't connect - just get flashing orange light. Have tried factory reset. Mobile gives "No Arlo devices found". Any ideas?

Did you connect the VMB5000 to your router with the ethernet cable?

Start by checking that the connectors are fully inserted. If the router has status LEDs for each LAN ethernet port, check those LEDs. Also, look in the attached device list for your router, and see if the VMB5000 base is listed there.
