&lt;LI&gt;local recordings can only be viewed from the app (not a PC browser)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;local recordings can only be viewed from the primary account (not friend accounts)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;you can't make manual recordings or take snapshots&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;there are no thumbnails&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;remote access can be difficult to set up (requires port forwarding and enabling a VPN in your router).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;While many do find these limitations acceptable, I prefer the convenience of the subscription.&amp;nbsp; I still do have direct storage enabled as a backup.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is there any way to view recordings in your library on the app without paying money?? Why do you have to pay now? In my older arlo cameras I could view recordings in My library without paying for a subscription&lt;/P&gt;</description>
