I needed to mount camera upside down so used the inverted -- rotate image 180 degrees -- option. It works as advertised.

However, the motion sensing zone (lower 2/3 of image) stayed fixed and didn't rotate. So now I have the motion zone as upper 2/3 of image. is there a way to rotate the motion zone?

No. All you can do is rotate the camera down so the detection zone covers the needed area.
