    <description>&lt;P&gt;Does fiber internet work with the Ultra2 cameras? We have 5 and with cable, the video gets unclear/scrambled if they go off at the same time because of upload speeds. Don't want to make the mistake and switch and then have problems. Will we still have the ethernet cable connectivity?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The fiber is connected to a device called an "Optical Network Terminator" (ONT) in your home - that is provided by your internet service provider (ISP).&amp;nbsp; The ONT has an ethernet port that you connect to your router (which will in turn have ethernet LAN ports).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If you have a gateway (a router with no WAN ethernet port), you will need a new router. Your new ISP should be able to tell you that.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will not lose ethernet connectivity, and will be able to connect your smarthub to one of your router LAN ports.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The cameras need good upload speeds (since the videos are being uploaded to the cloud).&amp;nbsp; So you might want to measure that.&amp;nbsp; &lt;A href="https://www.speedtest.net/" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.speedtest.net/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://speed.cloudflare.com/" target="_blank"&gt;https://speed.cloudflare.com/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;are useful tools for this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The cameras might also be too far from the smarthub.&amp;nbsp; Try measuring your home wifi speed at the camera locations with your phone.&amp;nbsp; You need to have at least 2 mbps upload speed from those locations.&amp;nbsp; Of course the smarthub wifi is different, but if the smarthub is fairly close to the router, the speeds should be substantially the same.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A third possibility is WiFi interference.&amp;nbsp; It's best not to put the smarthub right next to the router - make sure it is as far away from the router as the supplied ethernet cord will reach.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
