Night recording no alerts

My camera seems to work ok in the day picking most things up, I have my activity zone set up within my garden and mode saved correctly.
Come night time I have night vision and led light active It will not pick anyone up, I can walk around the garden and it just dont seem to see me.
But it will pick up a passing car with there lights on and it's no where near the zone.

If you remove activity zones entirely, does the camera then pick you up at night?

No it dont
It will just pick cars up with there lights on.

It's like it's to dark to see me
But I can see myself on live when in out there.
