Will it make a difference whether I have the solar panel or outdoor charging cable in very cold weather or will the battery stop charging below 32 degrees Fahrenheit no matter which way I hook it up? I know I get more camera features with the cable (CVR, e.g.), but putting that aside, will I be better off with the cable in terms of having to take the camera inside less often for charging?

Last winter I had an Ultra plugged in using the outdoor charger and the battery kept its charge even in the coldest weather. This apparently was due to the heat generated by the camera always being awake and streaming (even if you don't have a plan that allows you to access the stream). YMMV.
