About Arlo Ultra CVR Question

Hi guys,

Recently I bought Arlo Ultra and I found that I have to join the CVR plan for 24/7 recording.
I'm thinking to buy a SD card to store my record.
If I have the SD card to plug in, can I record 24/7? Or I have to join the CVR plan?
And do I need to have cable to plug in for CVR?

for 24/7 , yes you need a CVR plan and the camera needs ac power

Adding to TomMac's post - Motion detected recordings will be saved to the SD card when local storage is enabled, but not 24/7 CVR content. CVR is stored in the cloud only.

Are you sure? There's a feature that dumps recordings to local SD card regardless.
