So what exactly happens after 1 year of free subscription expires ? Arlo Pro 2 offers free 7 days of cloud storage. Does Arlo Ultra stop working if you decide not to pay ?

Arlo has promised that by the time that early subscriptions expire we will get access to the on-board recordings.

Maybe that will do what you want.
