Traveling with Ultra 2

Does my Ultra 2 have to be connected to the base station? We are wanting a camera to travel with us through Central America for six months. Wasn’t sure if I needed to purchase another type of camera.

Yes.

Most won't log into hotel networks that require you to enter your room number or other codes to get onto the wifi network. Just something to keep in mind.

A camera that records directly to an SD card might be the best option.
