My personal experience is that updates introduce more bugs than they resolve. It's a fact: recent Pro/Pro2 cloud fiasco requiring users to remove and re-add cameras, local storage fiasco which stopped me from using the cameras what they were intended for, not to mention the Pro 5 fiasco etc. etc.

This product is good for hobbyists and enthusiasts that like to have their lives filled with endless problems, resets, testing etc., though I wonder if any of them would have that kind of patience to deal with the constant issues.

No other product in my household has ever needed so many resets, re-adds to the account, emails with support from Arlo. It's shocking and abysmal what this company does, and every time there's a new firmware update, I'm anxious that things will get broken again.

So, if you know how to *stop* your Arlo products from receiving firmware updates, please let me know.

Hello,

For some reason my Arlo Ultra is not receiving the latest firmware update 1.070.53.1_62_40917e7. I’m stuck on 1.070.52.1_35_1bdb65f. Is there a way to force an update?
