I'm unable to find my previous post on firmware availability, so forgive me mods for posting this again.

As I said previously, it's becoming obvious to me that firmware updates aren't available in all regions. For example, since the last firmware issued for the base station 5000 in the UK, there have been at least five new firmware updates released with bug fixes, but none seems to be available in the UK, or at least I'm unable to force my base station to upgrade.

Is there a particular reason for this kind of approach? If this is indeed the case, why are users in the UK (Europe?) disadvantaged in this respect?

Thank you.
