What is the USB connection on the inside camera housing

Going back to my 'dead' Ultra. What is the purpose of the USB port on the side of the inside camera housing?

I dont see that in any of the ARLO product guides.

I plugged it in to see if I can wake up this camera

The ULTRA VMC5040 Do you need the serial number? I am seeing this on all Ultras

Thanks for the info. The Micro-USB port you are seeing is for Debugging purposes & not meant to be used for trying to charge/power etc.
