iPhone freeze and lock up when turning on mic while live streaming

If I turn on the mic while live streaming video my iPhone locks up and restarts. The arlo app crashes. I’ve tried updating my phone and uninstalling the app and reinstalling and nothing works. It’s starting to get old.

What Arlo iOS app version and iOS version are you running? And what iPhone are you using?

Is this happening when you're on WiFi and/or cellular data?

Hello, Arlo version 3.5.8. iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS version 14.8.1
I know it locks up when I’m using WiFi. I’m not sure if it does it when I’m on cellular data.

Currently, the new iOS version is 15.1. You could try updating to the latest iOS version to see if that may help.

Otherwise, you can try offloading the Arlo app, restarting your iPhone, and reinstalling the app again. You can offload the Arlo app by going to your iPhone Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Arlo > Tap "Offload App".
