Hi,
I purchased this second hand from someone that didn’t use it. How do I reset the base station password so I can login access it?

What you need to do is create an account, and then add the base station to that account. You can do that by browsing to https://my.arlo.com in a PC, or by using the Arlo app on your phone.

Note that cloud storage and some other features (including activity zones when on battery power) do require a paid subscription. If the base and cameras were never used at all, then you will automatically get a three-month free trial. But when the trial's over, those features will be disabled.
