Is there a mode or something I can build or any tricks to set it up where I get alert at night?

Hello everyone,

I am not entirely sure if I have the ultra 2 or just ultra. My question is though how can I set my cameras at night to detect a break-in or home invasion. I know I can set the motion detection but I move around a lot at night and my girlfriend gets up often. I know the alerts will be plentiful. I also know I can pay to have a constant recording but I would rather not go that route. Is there a mode or something I can build or any tricks to set it up like this. While I'm here how can I tell if it's ultra or ultra2.

Thanks in advance for any and all help

first

https://kb.arlo.com/000062435/Arlo-Ultra-2-FAQ

https://kb.arlo.com/000062160/Arlo-Ultra-FAQ

As to the other question... Mounting location is a big issue.

1) out doors facing most likely entry way ( like sliding glass doors , etc )...easiest way

2) indoors but with zones only covering entry ways

It is going to be very hard to do if indoor and someone is moving around during the time cameras are armed unless there are a few rooms no one will enter ( then you can make a custom mode to arm just those cameras )
