    <description>&lt;P&gt;The camera has a fixed number of pixels and fixed field of view. &amp;nbsp;The camera lens isn't moving, and cannot move to track a target.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So, to achieve tracking mode, the camera extracts a subset of the available pixels (1080 vs 4K) and pans that 1080 view around within the 4K fixed view, to track the target as it moves. &amp;nbsp;It's a little more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Arlo has replied in the past it is a "Hardware Limitation" and it does state that in the manual. I wish it wasn't that way like many but It is the same on Pro3 with recording going from 2k to 1080 with it activated.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
