Delay in video

I have just got the Arlo ultra system, I love it so far, but I notice that when I get a alert on my iPhone there is a huge delay on it allowing me to view the footage.. is there something else I should do within the settings ?

Brooklynzoo,

When motion is first detected, you'll receive a notification. The video won't arrive in the library until the recording is completely finished. The longer the recording, the longer it will take to arrive in the library.

I know it's not the best considering the limitations but I have found that if I want to see it right now and it hasn't made the cloud it is always on the SD if you have it set up. Since it is only on the phone app it can be a pain but if I'm using my phone I don't even bother looking in the cloud but go straight to the SD.

This makes perfect sense... that’s what I’ll do when I get a notification, I’ll go straight to the live feed. Thanks
