Thank you for the feedback. Yes I think it was interference although I don’t what changed. I reset everything and move the station away from my other electronics and it seems to be working. Thank you!

Hi,
I winder if some can help. My smart was working fine for ~2 months with solid blue led. Now the led flashes a dim orange light and won’t connect / stays off line. Every once in a while it seems to work (blue led). Internet is working. Tried resetting, unplugging etc. I am located in South Africa.
Thanks!

It rather sounds like there may be a hardware problem if the amber LED is dim. When you reboot the hub does the LED flash amber brightly? If not, maybe it's just a poorly positioned LED.

A flashing amber LED indicates a poor connection to a camera. Try moving the base more centrally or move cameras to a different/closer position.

Thank you for the reply! It does feel like a hardware problem - but an intermittent one. The blue LED glows very brightly (when it does work). When I reboot - it still flashes dim orange (barely visible).

I have 100% confirmed internet is working. I will move the cameras closer - but they are currently ~4-5m away with direct line of sight and were working perfectly initially.

Would it be presumptuous to wonder if there is anything else I can do / try :-).

thanks again!

Since the amber LED is always dim when lit I suspect, but can't prove, that the hardware is likely ok.

Anything that interferes with the WiFi signal between the hub and cameras can cause issues. This can be house construction, objects in or on walls, or electronic devices using the same frequency as the hub/camera connection. Since this just recently happened, did something get moved closer to the hub that uses a wireless signal? Have you tried moving the hub away from the router?

It's possible that removing all devices from Settings, My Devices and start fresh to clear out any weirdnesses.
