Allow per Camera Schedules

Please add the capability to have schedules per camera. I have a camera mounting in the tree at the curb specifically to catch crap that happens at night (theft, vandalism etc). The camera at the street runs out of batteries within two weeks due to the traffic. Now that i setup my 3rd camera facing the street, i do not need the tree camera running all day. I would like 2 cameras running all of the time with my tree camera only running at night.

Tho you can run only one schedule at a time, you can run all different cameras by using Custom Modes in the schedule

How did this thread get solved as this is not solved yet.

I had previously reviewed those articles and they are not a solution to the problem. The scheduler does not allow me to have one set of cameras running 24/7 and another camera setup to only run between the hours of say 7pm to 7am. When those are added the scheduler will show the overlapping times/modes.

If you read the FAQs on creating custom modes and the scheduler all is possible. Create as many custom modes with rules for only the cameras desired for a specific time period. Any camera without a rule is disarmed. Once you have as many modes as needed to cover the whole day, schedule them in their appropriate time slots on the scheduler.

Yes, it can... as mentioned you just need to created custom modes to break down the total cameras into groups as needed, then schedule accordingly

Exp cams A,B,C

Want A cam 24/7 but B cam fro 11am to 7pm and C from 5pm to 10pm

You need the default ARMED when all are on or armed

a mode for A , a mode for B, a mode for C, mode for A & B, mode for A & C

during overlapping hours when all 3 are on use ARMED ( from 5pm to 7pm )

for other hours use the ones as needed

Tips ;

as mention if cam NOT in the active mode, then it's off

any time you go thru midnight, you must split the time up to 1159pm and then midnight the next day.

Use the web access as it's simpler to use schedule as it's more drag/drop
