A few questions [Arlo Ultra]

I'm looking at purchasing the Arlo Ultra package but am put off by subscription costs on top of what is already an expensive package.

My questions are;

1) Can I wire all of my cameras (will have 4) so they permanently record?
2) Is there any way to get around a subscription cost? Like saving directly to a local hard drive or something?
3) If I choose to go subscription free am I stuck with only being able to view footage live as it happens or does it save (and accessable) for X amount of days?

Any advice is very much appreciated. Thank you.

1) Yes.

2) Yes. Use the SD card in the hub to record and the app to view the recordings located there.
