3 Arlo Smart zones

If this was already asked I apologize, I could not find it

I have the smart plan with my Arlo Pro cameras, on some of the cameras I created zones due to heavy traffic. While creating the zones I see that I can make up to 3 zones per camera. My question is, are all 3 zones active all the time? or do I have to make one the primary? (if so how???) I created the 3 zones to get better coverage while avoiding the high traffic areas I don't want to alert on, but I'm worried that if only 1 zone is active, I just created a void in my coverage.

All zones are active with no way to choose which ones or if one is "primary". Be aware that some folks have had issues using 3 zones while 2 zones work fine. Test.
